Last week, Natural Lands Trust announced the preservation of the 234-acre Gibralter Hill area, located in the Schuylkill Highlands Conservation Landscape in Berks County. The land also is home to Allegheny Creek, a state-designated high-quality creek which contributes to the Schuylkill River Watershed.
The Delaware Valley Chapter – AMC will hold it’s next Outdoor Leader Training April 10-12 at the Weisel Youth Hostel in Nockamixon State Park.
AMC’s Professional Trail Crew came down from their Pinkham Notch, NH base to Bucks County on August 1 for a week long project to clear and build a 1.3 mile stretch of trail that was damaged by Hurricane Sandy.

The Pennsylvania Highlands Trail Network (PHTN) will link these trails and many more across the 13-county Pennsylvania Highlands region.
