Water Resources Interactive Map

This interactive map connects paddlers and anglers to the opportunities and values of the water resources across the Pennsylvania Highlands and the threats to their integrity. Water quality, fishing, and recreation data is provided for each water feature. This offers the user with valuable conservation and recreation information.

The rivers and lakes highlighted below have been selected as known paddling and fishing areas within the boundaries of the Pennsylvania Highlands. Click on a feature to learn more about fishing (red), paddling (blue), and paddling & fishing (purple) rivers, lakes (blue), access points (boat ramp symbol) and USGS stream gauges (yellow circle). A pop-up window will display information about that feature. For information about a certain field, click on the field title. To get a closer look at a feature, click “Zoom to” located at the bottom of the pop-up window. USGS gauges and access points will display at a certain resolution, so zoom in.
