Veterans Park to The Park at Fourth

This PHTN section is a planned connection between the southern end of the Upper Bucks Rail Trail (in design) and the Park at Fourth in Quakertown. This segment will consist of both paved trails and sidewalk. The Park at Fourth is popular spot in the Quakertown, with an amphitheater and trails that link to the sports complex. The Bucks County Free Library is across Fourth Street from the Park. From the Park at Fourth, the PHTN will follow the Borough sidewalk system to Richland Township. Cyclists will have a signed on-road route through the Borough.

A hiking trail is also planned along the Tohickon Creek in Veterans Park that will connect to the sidewalk on Heller Road.

For more information on planning for this section and adjacent areas, refer to the Quakertown Region Master Trail Plan. (PDF 13.8 mb)
