Unami Creek Trail

Part of the Milford Township trail system in Bucks County, the Unami Creek Trail can be accessed at a trailhead located along Kumry Road.

Highlands Trail Route

The Highlands Trail route follows the entire length of the Unami Creek Trail. This 0.8 mile paved shared-use trail winds through woodlands in Township owned open space. From the east, the trail begins at Allentown Road and  heads southwest, ending at the Kumry Road Trailhead. The trail connects to the Parkside and Streamview residential developments.

Trail Facts

The trail is managed by Milford Township. It is a paved asphalt trail.

In the future, the Unami Creek Trail will connect to the Barrel Run Trail to the east and  will extend south along the Unami Creek to the Montgomery County line. In 2019, the Appalachian Mountain Club received a Schuylkill Highlands Mini-Grant to prepare a trail feasibility study for the further development of the Unami Creek trail that explores these desired connections. Completion of this study will allow for the Township to pursue grant funding for trail development.
