AMC, Quakertown Alive! and Quakertown Borough team to provide a new interpretive kiosk along the Highlands Trail in Quakertown.
A Public-Private Partnership
AMC worked with staff from Quakertown Alive! (Quakertown’s Main Street Program), Quakertown Borough staff, Borough officials, and the Quakertown Historical Society to design the interpretive kiosk panel and select the location for the kiosk. The 3-panel triangle kiosk is located in the southern portion of the Park at Fourth, near the Highlands Trail Network route along Mill Street. The kiosk includes information about the Quakertown Alive! Program and a map of the Borough highlands Trail route, the history of the Borough, and information about the Mid-Atlantic Highlands.
Thanks go out to Quakertown Alive! for providing financial support for the project, as well as to Ryan Sevenski, Quakertown Borough Parks and Recreation Coordinator for his hard work and project coordination.
