The Barrel Run Trail connects Milford Township to Trumbauersville Borough, Bucks County.

Highlands Trail Route

The Highlands Trail follows the entire length of the Barrel Run Trail. The trail runs between Woodview Drive at Trumbauersville Elementary School and Creamery Road. In the future, the Barrel Run Trail will connect to the Unami Creek Trail, which is about 0.3 miles to the west and is accessed from Allentown Road. Its is also envisioned that the Barrel Run Trail will connect to the existing Brayton Garden Trail to the east in Richland Township, with the ultimate goal of reaching Quakertown Borough via the Hunters Crossing Trail.

Trail Facts

The Barrel Run Trail is a 1.0-mile paved, multi-use trail. In 2019, the Borough of Trumbauersville acquired eight additional acres to expand Veterans Park, and the Highlands Trail will connect to the park. Currently, the Barrel Run Trail managed by Milford Township.

Trail Access Points

The Barrel Run Trail can be accessed near Trumbauersville Elementary School and connects to the Borough sidewalk system. Street parking is available on Woodview Drive.
