West Rockhill Trail Connections

West Rockhill Township representatives have been active members of the Steering Committee for the Highlands Trail since its inception in 2009. Concept plans show the Highlands Trail linking to West Rockhill Township from the north through the Upper Bucks Rail Trail and the Quakertown Borough Highlands Trail route. From the east, the trail would link to the Township from Nockamixon State Park. The proposed Liberty Bell Trail would run north-south through West Rockhill Township in the area of Old Bethlehem Pike.  This connection will provide a link to the Circuit Trails system. The Highlands Trail is also proposed to travel west through Montgomery County to link to Green Lane County Park and the Perkiomen Trail.
