Nockamixon State Park is located in the eastern section of the PA Highlands adjacent to Route 563. The 1,450-acre Nockamixon Lake within the state park is surrounded by woodlands and recreation areas. The lake is fed by Tohickon Creek, Three Mile Run, and Haycock Run, and the acquisition of these parcels serves to protect the lake’s water quality. With the addition of these 14 acres, the park now encompasses 5,304 acres.
