The PA Highlands GIS Clearinghouse is designed to help with the location of available spatial data pertaining to the PA Highlands. The Clearinghouse displays file names, originators, publication dates, and web locations of available PA Highlands data. Common spatial file types include Geographic Information Systems (GIS) raster and vector data, aerial and satellite imagery, and downloadable spreadsheets in .CSV and Excel format. Important maps available only in PDF or JPG form are also available as well as a list of major data center web portals and online mapping applications are included.
All users with data to share are encouraged to do so through the Pennsylvania Spatial Data Access – The Pennsylvania Geospatial Data Clearinghouse (PASDA). For information on how to submit data layers to PASDA, click here. PASDA also maintains a keyword search option for data pertaining to the PA Highlands. Search using the keyword – highlands.
